Hardeberga village, in the south
of Sweden, has a large sand stone
quarry in full work.
Since several years an eagle owl (Bubo bubo) couple
is nesting on a sand cliff in the north wall.
This year three young eagle owls can be seen
from the platform on the south rim of the quarry.
